Ah, a feeling i know well.

I was diagnosed as being Bi-polar 2 years ago. The beginning of the winter months can trip me into a bit of a downward slide. But it sounds like you've got good mates to keep your pecker up. (by keeping your pecker up i mean your spirits, not your pecker.................but y'know, each to their own. >_< )

But do remember the fact that humans MUST go through periods of feeling down. If we don't then how will we know when we're happy. Anyone who never feels down is insane. :-

The worst thing about feeling properly low is the idea sticks in your head that you may not feel good again..........That of course is utter *insert word that sounds like, umm,...trollox.* Generaly the brain will reset it's own chemical balance and you may find that you come out of it feeling better than you did before.

Depression, spring cleaning for the brain. kicks up a lot of dust don't it?

Hope you feel better very soon.

Yes I've often struggled to cope when the Summer ends and it gets dark early.

But I just try to keep on doing stuff that makes me happy, like listening to my favourite music, taking the Mini for a drive, watching some good films (& Dr Who etc) or even hang out on The Mini Forum.

The depressed feeling will go.

if it aint one thing it's another. Had my mum on the phone. My sister had not been in to work all week but never phoned in sick. so work rang mum (next of kin ) to see he she knew where she was. also reported her missing to the police. So mum's worried sick in floods of tears she's 83. my sister who lives in cambridge wont answer phone's. so i called police who went round and got her to answer door. So at least she's ok but clinicly depressed just locked her self in the house sunday and never contacted anyone. life eh never easy and why does all the bad *melon* in my life happen in october?????

If you feel down, you're certainly in the right place, sure that the cheery folk on TMF can help. Count your blessings, and if that doesn't help... this might (See vid)

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.c...></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.c...IU&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Erm, anyone know how I can get this link to work?
