I didn't get the chance to meet Stig or Juju but would have loved to, maybe next year?

I can't wait to get started on my next Mini project! I'll make you proud Sean! (Spudnik will be fantastical). Cheers everyone....I'm a little shy in person so hopefully I'll be able to warm up when I get to take my own Mini to a show and display him with pride!

What a picturesque drive back with snow covered fields either side of the motorway. I couldn't get home though! I live on the top of a hill in the middle of the Forest where there's no such thing as gritters! Luna just wheel span so I turned around, stopped at the view point and built up the courage to go back down the hill and try the other side of the hill. FAILED! Found my brothers car abandoned at the bottom of the hill. Took a walk, decided if I picked my route round 'piano corner' I might make it, Bingo, corner negotiated, next problem, straight up hill ice sheet! Lots of spinning, slipping, sliding, very very slow progress, horahhhh, traction! Me and Luna succeeded where the 4x4's and normal cars failed! Mini Power!! It only took an hour!

Phew! I made it back! It was a pretty good show, Martin's stand was absolutely SWEET! Shifty was very cool, it was nice to finally put a face to the legend!
All in all I had a great time and enjoyed looking at the minis that were displayed....my buddy Tom was especially impressed with the Tahiti Blue Mini with the Star Mags. The Scamp was a neat little machine....I salute you Sir for driving him so far in the freezing cold. (I'm the guy that talked to you briefly about heater cores)

Great to meet you too!!

You're too kind, I'm not really cool, just a bit chatty!!
(how could I be cool?.....I was wearing a santa wig and a beard!!)
I'm sure you and Spudnik will be happy together, I'm gonna be sad to see him go!!
Dan, happy to be able to help this morning, it all came right in the end

Great to meet so many new people and catch up with loads of old mates.
Scampy/Minxy, serious kudos to you too for the drive down, I've never seen 2 people look so cold!!!(I turned my heater down on the way home as a mark of respect to you)
(mind you I did turn it straight back up again as I got a bit chilly)
Show was a bit quiet but the day still flew by, heres to the 2010 show season!!

Apparantly its possible to spilt an electrical pulse into 5 seperate pulses(at the same time) without any loss in current or voltage!!
Quick some phone up the science museum, the laws of physics have been re-written!!
Fecking Numpty!!

I really liked Roofless' and Shifty's stand area, very professional. Me and my dad were stood watching the slides of the restoration you're doing at the moment for ages

Loved the '61 mini, very nice.
I wouldn't mind that fibreglass pickup shell for xmas

edit: Shifty, no doubt you will have to question him further at Bingley if you're going - he's had a stand there for the last couple of years
