More questions:
Do they protrude down into the rear bins?
What sort of volume are they?
Mine goes down & takes up as much of the rear bin as I could get it in to (still leaving room for the belt) and is about 16 litres. It was a pig to make because of all the differet angles, but I used 9mm mdf and fiberglassed te inside just like yours.

At the minute they don't and am thinking it'd be a wise move. tho sometimes you can hear the side of the car vibrating
They can be on the scale of loud to loud as .... they are on the getting close to loud as.... end. very very good little things even with their small sized magnets.

I know what you mean about the angles, it was a case of cut abit and measure up. Took me all of a day to make em both. But I still got the belt in there. The rear belts are bolted in on the rear bulkhead so I dont have to worrk about those.

And in the boot, 2 more of them in separate boxes as it means an easier job to get to the battery and spare wheel. thats the only issue with boot jobs. If you can't get to your spare wheel very easily, then try something else.

My wife wanted to keep here boot for the tesco's run so I free-aired a 12" competition 1000w rms pioneer in the parcel shelf bridged to a 2400w lanzar amp bolted to the back of the seat and it sounds excellent, used the original parcelshelf card as a template to make two mdf ones to go either side of the metal original one then bolted them together to make a very rigid base bolted the sub from this from below so the middle top of the rear seat didn't touch speaker, then made boxes from underneath the side 6" compnents so bass didn't push through these then made another frame with cloth stretched over the whole lot so no speakers can be seen. Always wanted to free-air a sub in a mini and glad I did bass is superb.

2x8 inch in the rear shelf. More cone area then a 10.

87% the surface area of a 12. Spotty dog.

No pictures as of yet..its too darn cold to work on the car!

12" sub in an optimise automotive boot lining kit, but 12" subs dont really sound all that great in the boot enclosures, as theyre best suited to 10"
Had to make the volume in the enclosure greater in mine, and other than the panel rattle its pretty good ;D

Looks tidier than it does in that photo, that was when id just fitted it and had to jiggle stuff around.

if you not to tight on money rockford fosgaste! my mate fitted a rockford fossgate sub and amp and it was jus a bit bigger than a normal amp in total, he fitted it to side wall in the boot of his focus and it took up practically no room at all well worth doing if you do still want to use your boot like
