'Nuclear fallout' shelter - Yorkshire

there one like that just above Birmingham somewhere, we went for a look around on a narrow boat holiday

it's out of action now and is open to the public to look around

it was amazing to look around to see how the select few would live while the rest of us fryed out side

Thats probably similar to a ROTOR station, theres one you can go look at in Essex, on top is just a concrete bungalow with painted on windows ! but underneath is masses of tunnels and rooms..

I've been in a few bunkers. definately worth the look around. :D

Mark something wasn't it ?

i liked the one where he was doing balloon rides over a secret base that didn't exist

the police couldn't do anything to stop it as officially the base wasn't there >_<

It always amuses me when people talk about area 51 being on google earth, and competley overlook the massive nuke test site literally 2 miles away....

search for Sedan Crater (the biggest crater) and have a look at all the other pock marks from nuke tests, there's quite a few....

For anyone near Tunbridge Wells in Kent there's quite a few rumors, supposedly T.wells was the last line of defence before London so there's mean to be a secret underground network with munitions stores etc

Ther's also a bunker about 50 ft underground that was supposedly for some american general which i've been down with some mates. There's 3 entrances in some private parkland kind of area, they look like small brick building but if you get inside you'll find an opening with steep stairs leading waaaaaay down. Unfortunately when you reach the bottom it's nearly always flooded

Search google for secret london underground tube stations too, thats quite interesting
