Well alburg i bought a mini and have started to stip it down and go for the bike engine convershion :grin:
What have i let myself in for :saywhat:
Whats the easyest way to strip it down any hint or tips?

z cars use a plasma torch. I used a 4.5 inch grinder. It took me a long time but the finish is perfect. But in retro spect I would cut most of it out with a 9 inch grinder then finish with 4.5 inch.

Due to my bad luck with the minus, I have found renewed motivation for the R1 car. I have been cutting out more rot. Pictures will follow shortly.

oh dear!
Well i have to say, ive just sat and read through every page of this project diary, and i am very impressed!
Will definately be considering doing a conversion myself in a few years time when finances may allow, and insurance would be possible
Looking forward to seeing more pictures!

Good. Progress has been pretty much non existant but I've tried to record exactly what is required to do this conversion. In order for the average joe (like myself) to decide what to spend their pennies on.
