The perspex ones?
I got the back one really cheap.
The full set are £150 in Polycarb, which is alot better, but i couldn't afford the good stuff yet.

thank you
the Police don't seem to like them as much.
i'm beginning to hate how slow it is. And no amount of A series tuning would please me power wise...
still waiting for order from minisport to turn up. 2 weeks so far on backorder

A series purists, turn away now.
Honda. I love the revs. The torque on the Vauxhall engines (without alot of chassis mods and power steering) is stupid, even when feathering the throttle.
I'm not going to say bike engine, or anything like that, as realisticly i cant afford it.
Don't think this will be done in the next few months, don't get the wrong idea, while at Uni im going to have to just carry on with the car like it is. Buying bits when i can.
I'm all about track cars though, for me, cars are Fun factor>Speed>then bodywork, in that order

I say each to their own - at least you're keeping the Mini alive!

I've always wanted to do a Honda Vtec transplant but like yourself I'm at Uni

What are your other plans apart from the engine?

Just make it as lightweight as possible. I gotta track another Lightweight Fibreglass seat when i can. Also Fibreglass doors too at some point. Anything that involves saving weight i'll be trying to do.
The Fibreglass front won't be done til possibly same time as engine, as we might need to cut and modify it to fit.
Other than that, repair bits that go wrong and enjoy it. Once handling is sorted and the GAZ shocks FINALLY turn up from overseas it should be alot more fun.
