Real shame your stripping this for parts, i really do think you did a fantastic job of it. Just out of interest, how much did the 1380 build set you back?
I know, wish I could keep it.
Maximum, £400. Including clutch and gearbox. Gearbox was £30 and i fitted a hardened diff pin to it.
Engine with cam, full head with rimflow valves, pistons, crank was £200. Total bargain on eBay, don't think it had ever run. Pistons in it are £80 each!
I used a clutch I had laying around, payed £70 for a polished end cover and there's probably a few things I missed to make it up to £400.
That doesn't include auxiliaries and fancy bits!

Ive got a budget of £1500 and I thought I would be scrimping at that.
I sure did! I had a budget of £1000.
If the guy had listed it properly it would have sold for a lot more. Even had a nice new kent 276 in it
