I really like it, I love something a bit different and funky every now and again. Definitly keep us updated with how you get on with it, looks like it could be quite fun turning into "yours"

well hello again...here we are nearly 12 months later lol, and yes..."Andy" is still part of the family.
I originally popped back on here to ask where to purchase bulb holders for the clocks etc as we have decided to put back a little 60's feel to it and go for a center clock...then thought how rude of me not to update you on our progress !!

Andy has behaved very well for us in the last 12 months, he had a few early hiccups with the head gasket and radiator...we then replaced all the hoses just for "belts and braces" sakes. .... servo went so that was replaced too.
For mr MOT man we had to strip back the interior and do a few bits of welding nothing too sinister.

My wife has had a play with the interior...so its not to everyones taste lol, we have removed those bucket seats as my fat ass wouldnt fit, retro retrims did us a blinding roof lining, door cards, shelf, speaker board & pods
We have just ordered covers for the seats......and are about to attack the dash in a big way.

Did my son ever get given Andy?...no lol!!.....well not yet anway, he has his test next wednesday, so Im hoping to have Andy completed by then bar the seats, couldnt find him affordable insurance til he passes anyway

You never know, you might just spot him out and about next year as we plan to do a bit (nice car trailer purchase thankyou again ebay!!)

I know you are going to ask for photos, but think the seats need to go in first.
So...dashboard clock bulb holders anyone? (smiths clocks naturally)

998 Minis, make a lot of noise and don`t go anywhere very fast.

My little run around is a 998. According the GPS performance meter thing it will do 0-60 in 11.5 seconds. Its truly depressing considering the last mini would do it 6-6.5 seconds. Shame Omega pistons rings aren't as good as their pistons.
