this is my eigth year attending newquay, apart from the two years that we came down in my wifes MPI every other time one way of another we have had car problems, generally temperature related.
Im intending on coming down in my trusty mini van, which is my every day transport. engine has been in for atleast 10 months, and this one seems strong. however, i did the mk classic yesterday (thraping round race tracks) and although I didnt have any temperature problems, when i inspected the rad fluid this morning, it was like chcolate milk...
i dont appear to have lost any water, but the water has definately turned browny and a bit froffy.
ive done compression test, 165 on all four, and oil on dipstick seems like oil (that hasnt gone brown).
so... do you guys think i have head gasket issues? or not?
the ultimate question... do I risk another year on a recovery truck, or just accept newquay is too much for the old van and come in the wifes bini?
