you should try adrian flux


:) Heard some bad things about them in the last few months, the theme is that they tend to give out amazing quotes but the after care is abismal.

you should try adrian flux if your over 19 you can have unlimited Mods for no extra cost


Only if the power output of the car is unchanged.

just a point to make.

I did just this, and got around the "modded" status by registering the engine swap with DVLA - the car is now classed as a 1275.

but insurance on 1275 is much higher than 850/998.


Wilson, i think you should double check that, just because you have informed DVLA and they have changed it on the V5 does not now mean its not modified. Unless your insurance company took this into account. i.e if you had a mayfair all they have to do is see that no mayfair has a 1275 engine, therfore - its modified.

I got the call today.

They told me (get this) There will be NO increase in my premium.
There''ll simply be one off admin fee of 17 pounds!
