Is there anything the TMF lot are gonna do to get noticed as I would love to put some faces to usernames

i have a sticker of my user name on the drivers side rear window! looks pretty damn cool if u ask me lol ill get a picture of it up if i can

...but really what do people eat?

theres burger vans (but v.expensive in my opinion!) but you can take disposable bbqs etc as long as you put them in the bin once cooled down (dont try pick it up when its still glowin lol) thats what ive done the last 3 years, small disposable bbq, few burgers, sausages n plenty of booze!! lol

Likewise although I reckon it's worth bringing a few with you, we used two last year, a sort of late lunch/early dinner BBQ just after we arrived and then a second one about 12 ish when the munchies set in. Of course I should have bought a third one for the morning, the bacon sarnies are bloody expensive too!

I might go all posh this year though, I've got a small 'clamshell' portable BBQ to bring that I can reuse and I may invest one of those little gas burners too for bacon and tea! Avoid the queues!

Our plan for the year is forming up now, we're driving up from Plymouth to Portsmouth Friday night to stay with a former Mini owner mate who's coming up too. Stay with him, many many drinks, sleep up the hangover and cruise up the A3 Saturday afternoon and see if we can pick up any convoys to CP.

This is going to be my first L2B, so i need a little info about food and drink from someone more experienced. I'm at work at the mo so could someone remind me if we're allowed to do barbeques in Crystal Palace? If not what's everyone bringing to eat, and are there any restaurants/cafes near/in the park?

there was a burger van there last year, more grease than meat though! i lived off eclairs and wine gums for the weekend ! ill be taking a disposable bbq this year! they are allowed they have to be raised off the floor though. you could always venture out of crystal palace and go find a nice restaurant/pub to eat at.

I've got a standard 4 man that I've been using for years but I want to persuade my uncle to lend me his giant 6/10 man with it's "lounge" portion that's just about the right size to park a Mini in.

whichever you choose, i done the m23 last year, bit of a boring drag to b honest, but i didn leave cp till about 11oclock and wanted to get to brighton quick, this year ill be doing the a23 route
