Looks like i'm doing it unofficially now, as my other ticket i bought fell through as matey got his mini sorted in time and changed his mind.

Oh well, my brother lives there so i suppose it works out good, no getting up SO early for a carpark space.

Where's the best place to be parking guys? there many car parks on maderia drive itself?

There are no car parks on Madiera Drive, only parking spaces on the road. Without a ticket, you will not get onto Madiera Drive as it is closed to any cars other than ticket holding minis.
