How amazing was london to brighton today?!?! it was my first official run, and i thought it was great saw some of you TMF'ers with their username stickered to the back windows your mini's looked amazing by the way!

i just got back, managed to sort out a used clutch plate, and got to crystal palace a bit before 5. people started putting cars in the que just after midnight! i woke at 3.15 to the sound of minis, and managed to get my car a decent place in the que. left brighton at about 4, had a great drive home, about 2 and half hours of a-roads in convoy with two other minis! saw a few cars i recognised as well, and said hello to a few people.

it was a great day, excellent cars from rat, to concourse....

Sorry to see some false starter's with the ever so handy AA

Shame about the que for the run pack at CP...but the staff were very fast and jolly...and even apolagised at Brighton for it over the PA

I ended up buying more shiney stuff from Smiffybits..(good to finaly meet you mate)...and some random things too

Didnt find the TMF stand at Brighton?? (was there ment to be one)

And if you saw me with my Ipod name in my cooper...good to wave at you lol...

And to the 2 girls in the blacked out windows.....i pasted (cough) a few times on the way home...pm me

What i really didn't enjoy was cleaning Tom's car after some had written on it in marker pens! .

Also spent far too much again, good weekend all round.

LOL Scott, i cant remember any of that to be honest, i just remember waking up, standing up, attempting to walk over to the guys next to us, then falling flat on my face. Thats pretty much all i remember of saturday night...

I didnt enjoy puking up this morning though.

i was travelling from surrey but left shortly after that comment lol!
got there at about 5 and the q wasnt too bad just the waiting around for hours to get moving!
then the traffic into brighton was a 'mare!
Other than that the weather was good for the day
and the mini's were lovely
real drive to get your mini sorted for next year
and had a lovely day with the beautiful littlemissmagic
and obviously bought aload of shiny cool things i didnt really need aswell as a few bits i did
Oh, yeah and paddy hopkirk!

I arrived in style.. pushed in by 6 friends as my car decided to have a hissy fit and break down round the corner from crystal palace saturday morning! Then we broke down again by the roundabout with "welcome to brighton" written on it in flowers. We know how to make an entrance
Thankfully some lovely people stopped to help and lent us some spanners so we could fix him . Traffic was a *woman of ill repute* out of london and in to brighton, but was a good run overall! Went on the A roads as it was my first run, but next year I will go on the M roads to avoid the traffic.

Bought some stuff I needed which was awesomesauce and had fish and chips on the sea front

Amazing weekend overall! I've been up since 3 am... I'm going to bed!

good turn out with simply superb minis - customs, classics, ratties, well worth the trip.

best car of the day for me.......custom blue and carbon roundnose running a vauxhall lump up front - stunning work on steel bonnet with engine reveal

spent the last three weeks working myself into the ground to get the mini ready for today. ran like a dream. untill i got within 1/2 mile of pease pottage and the coil gave up. couldnt get it sorted and spent the next 3 hour waiting to be recovered. went home on the back of a truck. a bit gutted to say the least.
