hate to prove you all wrong, its illegal, and you CAN get pulled for it, so long as you know the risks, and dont whine about it if you are nicked for it!

My mini is a C reg. Its 1980.

Its 1985...

Or did you mean the decade?

My Mini is 1980 on an old W plate!

Dont think I'll risk it to be honest, not unless I get hold of a pre 73 log book.

Anyone got one to sell meeeeee?

But if one Mini is sent to the scrap heap and another one takes its book and plate, how will anybody be wiser?

So how is that different fron Joe Crook taking the identity of a scrapped car and putting it on a stolen one ???

Or what happens when you sell the car to Joe Public only to find out his Mk2 Cooper is actually an 1985 Mini city...

I thought 1972's where Mk3. Which have negliable differences to Mk4's (1980 car is mk4)
