so ive found a kit that includes the projectors and the full hid's and now im going to attempt to retro fit! i know these wont be MOT legal or even road legal as i dont now how the beam patteren will shine, but i think its worth a go!


It does not matter about the beam as anything that takes a H4 bulb to the letter of the law can not legally be used with HID bulbs. Its to do with safety marks or more so the lack off appropriate ones. When it comes down to it any light that was intended for halogen bulbs can not take HID.

its not a H4 kit, its a projector kit, majority of aftermarket light units for minis aren't technically legal as they don't have and 'E' marking, but people still use them. We know that its not legal, but its a project, and when i finally get round to doing it, i'll see where that gets me :)
