latest update guys, this week i have been taking my mini apart to model everything correctly, most of the models are now made and now im working on the coding of the application. so far so good, but with all my uni work I have not been able to work solidly on this like i wanted too. with any luck i might... might have something hosted on my site later this week. If anyone has any custom decals or any 'art' that they might want to be able to put on the models feel free to upload an image or 2 here and ill see what i can fit in. thanks for everybodys patience.

if it turns out like that pugmodder, then this will become OUR new bible

to make it like pugmodder, would be fairly simple. but what about the ability to spin your modified mini around 360 to be able to see it from every angle? do people care about this? or would people just want to see it from a few different angles?

Once you've got the modelling accurate, then the rendering from 360 degrees should be 'no more difficult' than from a chosen set of angles.
So, you might as well. :)

Unlikely struggling student hasn't been on TMF for almost a month, might get an update as its easter and most unis give 3-4 weeks off.

Hey guys, at the moment its not good, ive hit 2 major points, if i publish the app now, the fact that i want to use it as my final year uni project means that ill get done for plagurism even tho its my product! which is freaking stupid, and also, to map and model every single component possible is going to take alot of my time. basically Im going to try and have a working app up towards the end of may, but features will be limited because im still working things out with the uni. at some point im going to ask everyone to send me pictures and measurements of all the arches and things... or maybe ill work out some other way of doing it... but the only otherway involves me borrowing a £15,000 piece of equipment.. The minute i have something functional ill put the link up straight away to this thread, or if its easier ill set up my site with some form of news letter charting my progress. I really wanted this to be done alot sooner for you guys so sorry for the GIANT delay.

What would be helpful is for you guys to suggest what things i should start on first. As you may all know this is going to be for the exterior first. so should i start with paints and decals? or arches and wheels? any suggestions will mean i can deliver something... all be it so very late that you guys can use

nick 91 -- 3-4 weeks off may be true but ive been working solidly for the entire thing :dontgetit:

many thanks guys
