It's missing the original wooden steering wheel and gearknob but the momo replacements suit the car and are lovely

It's just because it's so easy to lower torsion beam suspenion. It's literally a half hour job with no cost. Most Pugs and Renaults seem to be dropped at the rear. My old Megane coupe was ridiculously low at the back. Lifted her up to standard and she handled soooooo much bettererer!

lush car though L, lush!

Lisa, I'm still a bit confused dot com over here????? Why did you get rid of the 306??? On the topics its reads like you wanted to get rid of the 306 to get a 'retro' car just for the 'ring run? Or are you running both?

Did I read that wrong or was the famous french electrics finally kicking in?

If you swapped it just for the run then in the words of austin powers

I SALUTE YOU!!!

I have essentially bought this car just so I have an old enough car for the run

The 306 is still sitting outside but is for sale, this is going to be my daily

I think you win the prize this year for 'most dedicated retro runner' Seriously though, I had a 205 and love the 205/309 etc etc so seeing you change from a 306 to this as your main car is quite something?

Again hats off to you, is a lovely car :D

Oh and see Matt for your prize, and its not a golden egg cup?

No lol I was trying to work out how he knew that! I know he's on the 205 forum but I don't think I mentioned it on there til I had one, unless he's sneaking around on the 309 forum as well because I was posting on there while I was looking for one :)

lol, I'm on quite a few Peugeot forums, 205 drivers, 306.net, 309 oc etc as I sell quite a few bits on there.

Looks like a nice motor, I had a phase 1 309 GTi (breifly), robbed the suspension off it and scrapped the rest. Wasn't as nice as your one though.
