I can't believe how neat some of these conversions are! I did a similar conversion a few years ago, standard 4E-FTE in a roundnose. It was so tight I had to grind a few mm out of the grill for clearance!
As if that wasn't hard enough, I recently upgraded to a TD04 setup and a clubman front. It now runs about 200whp and is a really nice drive. Launch control etc, thanks to emanage ultimate, adds to the fun!
Good luck to everyone with their projects

Love this conversion, if i still had a mini it would either be this conversion or a micra turbo that i would go for. My mate, chrisg10 is about to do this conversion with my help so should be a good learning curve.
Ive also got a mate with a GT turbo, hes got a td04 turbo on it aswell and thats making about 250 ish bhp, he took me out in it and (on private roads of course) got upto 142mph
Wonder if it will mount to a rwd box ;)

It's been a while since i've posted but we have since completed our TOYOTA 4EFTE powered roundnose mini.
It is definitely not as straight-forward as you may think, to have it well executed almost everything must be re-located.
Our build diary for this install will be up soon, here's a teaser pic:
