All though, he does have major mood swings and leaks all over the drive.. slightly womanly haha (sorry ladies)

and to quote all murray, if he was a lady person, he would have to be called "Fruit based drink".. doesnt flow as much as "Beer"

i have never named a car and cannot really understand why people do it. i suppose as i am a technology teacher i just see the mini as a piece of history, i think that its innovation and technologies must be admired, but not as a creature but as a product, so i call it "the mini" as with all my cars i have called it after what it is e.g, "the saxo", "the escort", "the fiesta" and "the vento" on the other hand my misses called her car "chicken" as the reg ended chk.

mines has too be a girl shes called molly dont really no why but i was driving her home and thought of it and it suited her lol so it stuck

Mine is most definitely male! When I first saw him he looked to be in a sorry state but just knew he was male; he was going to be called Baldrick after the Blackadder character but when I picked him up he was actually a lot nicer than originally thought so the name didn't suit him at all.

On our maiden journey back to my mum and dad's his fan belt was loose - we broke down, a week later his clutch went - we broke down, a week after that his exhaust dropped off - we broke down. How temperamental and 'moody' he initially was confirmed he was definitely male and we've been in love ever since

I dunno, it just wouldn't seem right to me if I spent so much time and effort on a girl

I don't name my cars because they are CARS!!

I don't get the whole naming thing either. I just call it "The mini" but suppose that's better than just saying "The car".

Mine's Jesse, so i have no idea whether it's a boy or girl.

I think i named it Jesse for this reason, so i don't have to answer questions about it sexuality, also Jesse Lacey the lead singer of an amazing band.

I can definately state that 'Scamp' is a bloke. A woman that ugly would have killed themselves years ago

I know 'Scamp' isnt a very original name for a Mk2 Scamp but when thinking about a name, everybody just kept saying 'uh, how about Scamp because i cant think of anything else to describe it'. Therefore the name stuck.

We did think of calling him 'Scump'. Like a Scamp but with no roof on the 'a'

I have 3 minis and they are called:

#1 my main mini and the love of my life is called MAX. this is a name given to my mini after a snake a use to own. (long story)
#2 my mini Minus is called Jason very simply because of the number plate JAA503N
#3 my mini cooper is called 'the cooper' couldnt think of a name....
