well been a while since i last updated but done a few meetings this year and had some good times and alot of bad luck,

broke a drop gear at donington park with the miglias

was in 2nd place after 18laps and then snapped a copper brake pipe at the flair end at the master cylinder

then brands mini festival sat was ok but head gaket blown,sunday was the good day,

started 19th and finished 10th and won the invitation class and started 15th dead last in  the all commers and finished 5th behind all the space framed 16v lot so the fastest 5port a series engine mini so happy with that,plus nice to see the show was better this year too,

found it on ebay,its a 1966 le-may pedal car,getting rare now i think

Hi mate. Wondering if you can give me some advice on which jets to use for my set up?
I'm running a a+ 1380, compression (10.5 to 1) lightened and balanced crank and flywheel, main centre strap. Kent 286 cam, high capacity oil pump, duplex vernier timing chain, Swiftune electronic distributor, Maniflow stg 3 manifold and Maniflow system. MED SCCR 3.4 FD gearbox, SC roller bearing drop gears.
Alloy 7 port head (10.6 :1), 1.5 roller rockers, twin weber 40's
Any advice on what jets to use? And set up advice?

Every engine has different set ups. All I would do is get it running and get it rolling road and they can base set it then run it in abit then set it up properly and power run it

Well I'm doing just migs in the mini and I've built a 306 gti 6 for tin tops for my brother in law witch I share drive in at cscc then when the mk 1 historic is built for next year I race that in cscc and my miglia
If all goes well with no major probs my dad want me to rebuild my grey shell in back onto the cscc
Talk about forward planning (just hope I win the lotto)lol
