It could also be your issue, but it's much less likely :).

i thought mine was broken then i figured out that i had the heater knob pushed in when it should have been out!

I believe there are two types. So it depends which type you have fitted.

pre 88 (valve bolted to block) is push for heat.
Post 88 (inline valve) pull out for heat.

During 88, im pretty sure F reg had push for heat, and G reg is pull for heat, but then again, it could be model specific rather than year during this period.

lol ok that might be my problem. i have been pulling mines out. and mines is a 1987 mini :(

but also like i said earlier in the topic.. my pipes still feel cold after a run about so i doubt that is my problem :cry:
