I've had two non fault accidents in th last 5 years, my insurance premiums have this stated on them and have stayed pretty much the same, if not a little less, but, both times i've sorted out the claim myself rather than letting my insurance company make a hash of it for me and making the claim drag out while they ask me what to say then write to the other parties insurance, etc, etc. Both times i've been paid what i expected (by being reasonable and not overclaiming) within 3 weeks.

My old mom had a women over the road reverse into her parked car.Husband said he would pay us to get it fixed.After a couple of months of him hiding she put it through the Insurace instead.All went well.She just talk to them over the last few years since.They have loads of money to so no excuse.
