yesterdays race was a crash fest. Vettels move on Jenson was rediculous, he ruined Jensons race and then continued to take out Sutil... rediculous. Both Mclarens had brilliant starts, they both drove perfectly and deserved a 1-2.

vettel deserved to get dicualified i think jenson was driving good letting hamilton get a good lead aswell was hangin on well with his front wing problem keeping second and then vettel ruined it all and the cheak of him to carry on driving i think they need to learn some good sportsmanship and stop him self. this really got on my nervs as you can see lool

Vettel really does need to grow up now. He's had a season at the top racing Jenson for the championship last year so he shouldn't be pulling manouvre's like he did yesterday. He was clearly frustrated but there was no need to try that move he did. He'll calm down next year i reckon, it's all experience for him.

On the other hand, what a race by lewis. Lead from the first corner right to the end. Excellent show.

Yep agree with both above posts. Was very very impressed with Lewis, he got a brilliant start, built a solid lead with the help of Jenson and continued to win the race, excellent solid performance all weekend.

I know it's pretty old news now but, just seen this and thought it would go down well on here. Apologies if you've seen this before.

Looks like their bringing 1.6 litre TURBO 650hp engines into f1 for 2013 and bringing back ground affect :0... sounds good..also they might move sidepods forward for increased safety i decided to do a quick photoshop (and yes i know im a pro at photoshopping):

does that not make them less powerful than the cars they are running now?

The rules keep getting changed in an effort to make the cars slower but people like Adrian Newey and the like manage to all but eliminate and deficit before the season even starts!

NO! This is a good thing! bringing the ground affect in means less turbulent air behind the cars which = better overtaking! 650hp is still alot of power though id prefer to see 2.0 litre turbocharged instead and see something like 750hp.

back in the 1980's the cars weighed about the same with 650hp (turbo'ed) and had less aero. they were still very quick indeed and there was always a good show.

But the 1980's cars had literally double the horsepower of that with a similar capacity engine. It'll be good to see the turbo's back in the mixer though. I wonder if they'll allow teams to run a bigger naturally aspirated engine with the turbo being only a 1600.

Not sure i get why the side pods are being moved forward though. Can't see the advantage myself.

Sidepods moved forward will give the drivers more protection from side impacts also they say it would be a 1.6 litre turbo FOUR cylinder engine -.- :/ I wonder what that will sound like 0.o

If revving to similar levels as now it will sound more like a motorbike than anything else!

Doubt they'd go for a 2-tier system though - Turbos also give an easier option to add a push-to-pass button for the drivers to use up to a certain limit per race. This should help to promote overtaking,

I think they're changing the rev limit back to 19,000, too?

Button has just had a pretty bad side impact from vettel and he walked away fine. If anything, i think it may cause more crashes due to lack of visibilty of other cars. I'm not getting at you miniQ, i just can't understand why.

Would be good to see a 2 tier system. See which teams go for what set up and the differences it would make on different tracks. I hope they do bring the rev limit back up aswell. Will sound even more amazing.
