Hmm.. Ignore the engine and go for what people can see..
Performance isn't everything.. is it??
Buckets are OK, but I managed to get a full leather interior from a limited edition cooper sport for £600. Car is well sweet now... Classy, but still sporty.
So for £500, I'm sure you could treat you mini with something similar.
