we have mice in the garden regularly, just kick them or throw a brick at them, my dad sets traps all the time but they got in the garage once and i remeber him pinning them against the wall with a sheet of wood and kicking the hell out of it

Thats actually pretty weird

We had mice when we kept Guinea Pigs, we tried the catch and release technique and it didn't work. You're better off getting some proper traps and killing them off so they can't return and breed. :-

you wont this stuff it poses not threat to other animals (aslong as they dont eat it)
http://www.primrose-...cPath=24_25_144

so if u put it in lil pots in the shed so the poison only stays in the shed it wont effect ur wabbits as when the rodent dies under a hedge or werever it brakes down the poison as it biodegrades

a guy at work killed a mouse with a full pack of wine gums.

just saw the mouse out the corner of his eye, grabbed the nearest thing to hand (wine gums off sweet display) and caught the mouse full force and clean.

thats proper hunter gatherer style in my books.

Something like this? I've seen a sonic rat deterrent plugged into a loft. There was no sign of rats.

The bait would be hidden in black plastic containers - haven't got a photo of them but they're just big enough for the mice to get in (we usually hide them behind things therefore the dogs can't get them)

I've thought about getting something similar but not sure if it would affect other animals such as dogs and rabbits in the OP's case...?

"Our Rat and Mouse pest repellers have not been found to affect cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, amphibians or children. The device may affect rodent pets such as gerbils, hamsters or chinchillas. " Doesn't mention rabbits.

we've got JML sonic deterrents - cleared them out of the garage and doesnt effect the dog :-

edit: or the neighbours rabbits - approx 20 feet away from our garage.

I best give good advice. Safe spot open Ammonia the fumes will make the leave kindly.Works with most things and no harm done even Fox.
Or on the other hand a man trap ankle grabber or a secound hand land mine of Ebay.
OR a humain squirrel catcher cage no damage then pop them in the cut.
Happy Hunting sport.
Mice-Look back and see how sad Walter Disney was with 2 Micky and Mini. He was Saved by the DavidVs Dog Gooffy & Donold Duck..SHE dropped an egg on them.Got them out the shed with Qakers no oats. Sat on them and sucked them up like a Dyson Animal Vac......Then jumped in a lake like a submarine...Last we saw was Bubbles & another MickyJ..

Reminds me of a joke..

Man to Neighbour" What on earth are you doing, why are you sprinkling salt all around your house?"

Neighbour " to keep the elephants away, its a well known fact that elephants don't like salt"

Man "What!!!! You're crazy, we live in suburbs, theres no elephants for miles!!"

Neighbour "Exactly, effective isn't it"

heh heh heh
