[MINI MAD RKH]

Waited for the rain to 'iss off, washed her & went out for a drive (1st real time)

 

Really need to sort my geo now, mainly the castor  I feel like I've been weight training

Fitted cooper s discs, rear drums and longer bottom arms to the wife's mini today. Will need to bleed brakes, cut front guards and fit the group 2 flares soon.

refitted tail lights, stripped fuel tank, full of crud and rust, o/h'd wipers, fitted engine steady rods, fitted extractors..............................and tried making a bulk head insulation pad...............miserable failure.....oh well, back to the lab.

Gave Paddy a good thrashing over and around Beachy Head, just a pity a Sunday driving BMW motorbike owner would not go a little faster. There are some awesome hairpins up the hill there, brakes not required just a large pair of balls.

Went to Stanford and brought a new gear knob and a pair of bonnet straps

Treated the Sidewalk to some new wheel nuts from Stanford.

soldered 2 new wires to the reverse light switch,

 

tested the spare washer fluid pump and found out it was also broken.

Nothing to car today but have been stripping its new engine down most of today.............must remember to look for the leak on passenger door....AGAIN pahh!!!!

bought another shell

Painted rocker cover mowog green, stripped another set of carbs down for a clean..... I must hoard twin su's without realising ... Found another 2 sets in the garage...... Bolted a set onto the engine to make sure I had enough room for pipes etc.

Drove it to work!! After three weeks of overheating problems and being unable to drive it, it's seemingly fine now
