Had to sort out my dodgey electrics today as they unfortunatly set alight yesterday (luckily didnt take my mini wth them). Previous owner had messed with wires massively had to jack car up only to find bare postive battery wire almost making contact with the body so had to replace this and rerooted it through the inside, also cut aload of useless live wires hanging everywhere and random earth wires connected to positive wires, so luckily spotted all this before its first long journey otherwise dont think she'd have survived. Did look like wire spaghetti in my dash and now looks decent in dash and also in engine bay as everything tidied up. So overall a good day for our first time of working on her.

sat in the garage looking at the rusty old mess i called the engine, ordered a new rocker cover and then decided that going and getting paint was too much effort, so thats at least another week before its actually sorted

Decided to take an unknown route home from work. Although it looked like a normal road on the sat nav, something was telling me otherwise...

That looks like great fun.......in a 4x4! Would be interesting in a standard mini, how was it?

1. Finished overhauling the brakes on Molly. All good sharp braking, even for drums all round
2. Taking a dremel to the 'im not coming off even if you smack me with a huge hammer' inner CV joint on Ruby.

Well it got narrower and narrower, with a sign marked 'Byway'. I only stopped once I saw a huge hole in the 'road'. Also scrapped my 6 day old Maniflow exhaust on a bit of a step.
