Went to go for a run, but battery wasn't having any of it - was going to happen soon enough, as it was pretty weak on last start up.
Got the battery out and found a little surface rust inside the compartment, aswell as in spare wheel well - so that's my next job!
Not now though, it's my day off from work and I've just put the kettle on..

Took it for a warrent of fitness (nz version of mot minus emissions testing) failed on left hand lower ball joint, just needed greasing to take play out of it. So have a road legal mini for 6 months, oh and collecting my clubman van tomorrow

Had a look at the chrome door handles I just got hold of to see how I get the lock barrel out so I can put my existing ones in. Not a bad job as it was one for the kitchen table which means inside... in the warm.

Took Hatty for a little warm up run as she hasn't moved since last Thursday. the chill has got to her a little bit... verrrry slow crank over before firing up but she ran sweet once we got going. Once we got home I decided it was time to finally time to tackle her centre console... custom job number 2 now that the binnacle (job 1) and dash cards are done.

Yep, unless you own a car that is newer than 12 years old, then it's once a year (only just introduced this year) The roads are pretty shoddy over here so wears things out a fair bit.

Put a last coat of primer, just need to rub it down a bit and then paint it next time the weather's decent
