Yesterday, pootled up to Beaulieu, cracked the front spoiler, then stretched it's legs on the way home ;-)

Reckon I took out half the insect life on the A30....

removed pedal box, lower dash, heater and wiring loom, not looking forward to refitting that tangled octopus!

Top tip... Get a length of welding wire(or other easily flexible metal and use it as a fishing pole for a piece of string, use the string to pull the loom through from the A post back as needed, they usually come out better than they go in. You may be lucky though!

Had no jobs on today, so went for a two hour blast around Northants, car behaved impeccably and the country roads made it fun. sunny day to if a little blustery but I had the usual mini grin on my face. I have never seen another mini while driving mine. but always do when I am in the daily drive. weird that.

can I ask why you went for a roll cage ? 

I'm thinking about one but I would want more front protection.

Hello,
I wanted a little more protection, stiffen up the car a touch and if I decided to do any hill climbing events I would need one. I don’t plan on racing as such, hence a very basic cage.

Ordered a waterproof cover while car will be at home until I empty my garage. Though having suspension adjusted /lowered soon as I can this week.
