Leeches are good for that.

I pulled the Mini out of the garage for her first start up of 2024, she was a little reluctant after being sat for about 7 weeks but with a little help she fired into life, there's a few little niggly things to be done which I will crack on with as I'm actually considering making the old girl my daily driver from March/April as my current daily has developed quite a big electrical issue so will be thinking about making the Mini ready for daily use including arch liners all round to keep the muck out & things like that, she's already stone chipped underneath & inside the arches & front inner wings which is holding up really well

We took the Moop up to London and took part in London's New Year Day Parade along with 19 other Minis and about 9,993 other participants from all around the world.

What an amazing day and WOW we were so lucky with the weather.

Ran the engine in whilst my mate James from https://rovermems.com mapped it. 10psi of boost and it flew! Much more powerful at lower boost than on the previous build. Oil and filter change, oil sample off for analysis.

I decided to change the expansion tank to a recovery tank on the cooling system, so needed to get a recovery type pressure cap, so I ordered one from ebay described as a Mini cap

I have now ordered the correct size cap for a Mini :D

Started it up in the garage for the first time this year and done some TLC here and there. Hoping to get it out soon when the weather picks up.

Day out with Dad for Wirral to Llandudno Mini Run, starting 2024 off right. So many ideas for the year.

Took the Mini out for a good run down lots of country lanes, followed by a good hose down under the car to remove the salt/grit, the Mini is running so well.

My mini is hiding behind your car, you can just see the black sports pack arch and the N/S rear wheel of my red mini. Nice Midas! Was a really good day out, my first time on the run.

It looked great mate, nice to get them all out for a run, mine's a daily but sometimes my Dad needs a good excuse to get his out for a drive.

Spent most of the day modifying so called bolt on parts, so nothing new there then.
