I drove mine to work at 7.10am. I'm now going to drive her home again.

Today I removed the heater unit from under the dash and happily didn't get a wet floor......but found a hole in the passenger side footwell as the previous owner had obviously staged a patch-a-thon there!

Ellie's taken me to work and back again today, now she's parked in the drive ready for a run in the Lincolnshire countryside to The Dambusters Pub in Scampton for a St Georges Day tea :-D

I cleaned, polished him, then I went over the scratch with t-cut and it half came out as the other half is down to the metal. . Now I'm waiting for my dad to get back with the petrol pipe so I can fix his fuel leak. I also got a spare set of keys cut and a new number plate

Fixed the fuel leak now. Its been a productive day

Trying to book mine in for a rolling road session, i got the car back last night with a stage 1 kit fitted and it's no faster, only rumblier. Will be finishing lunch then going out to fit shiny new mirrors and replace vac advance hose

De-Volcano-Ashed mine today - even though she was in the garage she still had a layer of dust. (Oh and the Jag was Covered Too!!)

I Attached two spot and two foglights, to the front lamp bar, Lucas 576's and wired them up, re drilled some holes in the bar, a bit of chrome polish, and hey presto, great looking retro front

De-winterfied the Mini today!

Washed, Polished and Waxed and did all the chrome up too. Touched up all the slighty rustyish bits of paintwork around the arch holes where they've been missing all winter ready to be refitted tomorrow along with the proper wheels. Also repainted the rear bench and did a bit of engine cleaning. Also decided I need a bit of soundproofing, it's a lot louder than I remember!

Next up I need to redo the back window board (there was a leak and I think it's rotting) plus I'm going to put some (free) speakers in there too and then the soundproofing.

It's been a good weekend!
