To start off with I would like to say that I dont condone violence and think that there are better ways to deal with the situation that took place today. I will tell you the story and you can make your own mind up.

For about a month now we have had to put up with a mad brained boy racer hanging around the park opposite my house. This guy is a typical boy racer: shed of a car tarted up, *poop poop* wheels and a fart can exhaust, you know the sort. To say this guy was mad is a bit of an understatement. Wheelspinning, driving too fast, revving the knackers out of the (1.4) engine and too be honest it has been doing my head in. I am outside messing with the mini most days and all day long I had to put up with this idiot. Well, I was outside today tinkering under the bonnet as you do when I heard the familiar sound of tyres getting shredded. I looked up and there he was in his usual spot by the park. Carried on under the bonnet, 5 or 10 minutes passed and I heard squealing tyres, looked up again and the car skidded to a halt. Just as I went back under the bonnet I heard the sound of a window being smashed and when I looked up there was a guy with a hammer in his hand trying to drag the driver out of the now smashed window. The passenger gets out and shouts something and the guy with the hammer turns and goes after him, causing the passenger to turn on his heels and run. The guy with the hammer then shouts something at them that I couldnt make out then casually strolls off. The driver and passenger then jump in the car and speed off, nearly taking the front off another car in the process. Five minutes later the guy is back at the scene with his parents and the police. I dont know whether they caught the guy or not.

I dont know if they had upset the bloke with the hammer or something or maybe he was sick to death, like me, of the local area being used like a race track by this loony. I can understand the guy getting wound up, especially when the local police seem so disinterested. I had reported this guy at least three times for dangerous driving, speeding etc and always got a reply that went something like 'well we will try to send someone around to check it out but dont bank on it'.

I can understand what the guy did and that there are people that are sick of the police doing nothing but I think there are better ways of dealing with mad drivers.

Brightened my day up a bit anyway hehe :)

We do. They are about as much use as a chocolate teapot. The only car that it slows down is mine due to how low it is. Everyone else flies over them.

haha, brilliant, you should have got it on video, pmsl!!

we had a spotty oik in a "modded" saxo near me, used to sit right up my ass, until i put my foot down that is, either that or id just come off the throttle, move over to the middle of the road, so he couldnt pass, and slow him to about 10mph, lol anyway one day it was very wet on the roads, i was walking the dog, heard him coming, theres a sharp bend down the bottom of a steep hill, the wheels turnt but the car didnt, so he crashed straight into a bush, lol, his wanky rattle can paintjob on his bumper was ruined, and he had left a large bit of plastic in the bush, lol, i walked over just to call him something, and to laugh, lol

I just hope that this gives the guy a wake up call to change his driving habits before he kills himself and takes someone innocent with him

Our local yob rides a souped up chicken chaser
we live on a long straight stretch of road.
Came home one day he ran out in the middle of the road
with a very large rock ready to be launched in his hand.
Braked hard but not hard enough OOPS and sat him on the bonnet of my van.
He then rang the police, well officer there was I standing in the middle of the road with a rock in my hand!
Turns out they were well aware of him, lost his licence just after that.
