What is that designed for - attaching to a tow rope? or is it like a solid tow hook on its own?

Pretty much a solid towing bar

I have been on the other side of the situation years ago.

I was driving down the country road where my parents live in my Cobra (which is loud admittedly), and this dork stepped into the middle of the road with a rock in one hand, and raising his other arm motioning me to stop. Well... I didnt know him, I hadnt been doing anything bad, so... I did the logical thing... unleashed 600hp of noise and accelerated instead of slowing down. He got out of the way pretty quick. I later heard from another friend that he intended on 'getting me' one day. That day never came. All I had done supposedly was accelerate as I passed his house and make noise several times, but he lived where the speed limit changed from 50 to 100 km/h. Now... his son also has a Mini and seems to spend most of his time speeding up and down and doing hand brake skids. Apparently all ok for his son to do it!

I dont condone doing burnouts outside peoples houses repeatedly, or speeding up and down housing areas, but... we have all been young, driven noisy cars and done stupid things - doesnt condone smashing their window or threatening someone with a hammer.

i must agree ,,,, i am soon to have a metro 1.3 stage 3 with alot done to the engine .... i will not be pottering around in that i tell you now .... so i understand what your saying but to be in the same spot all the time and burn outs? well in a saxo you just looks stupid .... :D

Best keep an eye out for flying hammers then if you're going down the boy racer route?

Great read >_<

I'd just tend to leave the boy racers to it...they don't impress anyone and burn outs/over-revving etc they are also as well as damaging their image (if any) they are damaging their car...which in the long run they are going to have to pay for....
Nothing like seeing them ruin their cars haha...because I doubt a majority of them know much about car maintenance the way they push their cars.

I do love the fact they all get their comeuppance in the end

Top work! Cant see what all the hoo-ha is over this? We've all done silly things when younger etc but sometimes a word in your shell like just doesn't work, so its hammertime!

Most people grow up or realise their actions before it gets out of hand, if they dont then teach them (allbiet hammer in hand)

Good on him, theres plenty more work for him up n down the country if you find out who it is........
