If you simply pump it up to height and allow to settle for a few days if there is any air in the system it will find it's way to the top, ie valve you can then release it as you would air out of a tyre.... you may then need to pump it up to height again :)

The reason for the vacuum is to displace all air from the system so that when it is pumped up it is correct, this is good for a commercial enterprise as it means that you could go in get your system evacuated and pumped up and pay & go fairly quickly :) however hopefully you not in such a rush...

now that sounds like a good idea to me i am in no rush at all so this might be the solution

but thinking about it wouldn't all the air be left at the bend above the front suspension? if so how do i get the air out then?

Yes but that is why you then release a bit of the fluid..... it pushes the air out at the same time

Making several hundred psi is easy if you have a small enough pump and a big enough lever - 1/4" bore is 1 over 16 x pi = 0.2 sq in. Even pushing directly on that would need just 60lbs to make 300psi. You'd never totally evacuate the system with a vac pump. Bleed it as MRA suggests, but just fill it first, then remove the air (lower the car to compress the displacers). If you pressurise it with air in, it will dissolve and be like trying to bleed the gas out of a bottle of coke.

Yes that is right, let the car sit on the bump stops prior to charging the system :)

gases under pressure will dissolve in a liquid as Ethel states the coke bottle ..... but if you let it stabilise the air bubbles will rise up and a quick release of some of the pressure will dispel the air with enough velocity that the fluid simply pushes it out :)
