It's not that important unless your computer is incapable of opening two windows/tabs in your explorer ... Plus not everyone knows how to!


For those who don't know but would like to:

See the URL of the Youtube video you want to embed... This is normally along the lines of youtube.com/watch?v=Abcd_1234 (possibly followed by &loadsofrubbish)

The important bit is Abcd_1234 - this is the video ID and the bit you need to embed it into your post. Now to embed:

If you are using "Fast Reply": your text box needs to look like this: [youtube]Abcd_1234[/youtube]

If you are using "Add Reply": to the left of the text box are a number of "Quick Access" links. Click "Insert: YouTube" and in the box which opens paste the video ID (e.g. Abcd_1234) and press OK. The code will be inserted into the text box.


I realise this really is a potentially overdetailed but hopefully makes sense to everyone
