has anyone ever used the concept 36 cylinder head from minispeed? this could be an option for my engine build

Here is 6pence of money...
Go for a piston of a suitable dish - say 10/12cc. That way, when you do the SC conversion, it'll be easy to get a suitable CR in your new head (you'll need a lower CR in the SC conversion than you'd need for a decent nat-asp CR).
So with that - consider how much you really want to spend on anything you'll be taking off your nat-asp engine once the SC comes along (eg - spending £500+ on a head...) :cheese:
