A sportspack bodykit?

I have never seen anything advertised by this name except the sideskirts you can get in addittion to the sportspack arches.

If you fit a bodykit you generally end up lowering the car, and its usually this aspect of it that causes speedbumps to bother you.

My car has been lowered as it looks better lowered if you have sportspack arches and 13 inch wheels, but i have constant trouble over some speedbumps and in a few of the tighter multistorey car parks but it is the exhaist that scrapes underneath, not the front or back of the car, the overhang on a mini is pretty much non-existant for the front and back

Something like a zeemax kit may well scrape, but i supose its the price you pay.

my zeemax kit was put on quite a few years ago by another owner, dispite being resprayed since under the front spoiler is all scratched up, but since its 3 inches from the tarmac you need to lie on your back to see it anyway.

and FYI i take speed bumps sloooooooooooooooooooowly. mind you with my suspension if i took em quick i'd put my head through the sunroof.

The AA reckon that at 60mph speedbumps will literally knock your brains out.

In a mini i reckon 20mph would do it

and Don't Panic I too go veerrryy slowly over speedbumps

you need to just go seriously slowly and plan you route. sometimes it is better to go over them at an angle so it is one wheel being lifted at a time instead of two. i just to have to roll down really slow off them so i didnt hit my LCB on my old redmini, a speedhump took a good minute to get over lol!

it all depends on how fast you go over speedhumps. if you are slow you should be ok. if you hit it at 60, then you'll end up with no front end

My mini is running standard shocks and 12" wheels.

I cant take sleeping policemen over 10mph. ANd the square ones, I can go over at 20ish, as it dosent really go under the tyres.

Once I get my 13", I dont know if it will be differet because im lowering it to.

I want the ERA bodykit tho. I wana know how big the arches are in the ERA kit.

T'is funny.. here, most of the speedbumps are like giant humps of concrete in the middle of the road.. good 'cause if theres no on-coming traffic you can literally drive down the middle of the road, right through the two humps.. ha..
