alrite binge

i diont know if this helps but i have ERA alloys on my car and they are not that wide, Knowhere near fill sportspack arches. so i dont know if the ERA kit will be wide enough to cover your 8x13s.

(i am only going by the width of my wheels the kit may be wider)

I went over a speed bump that was over a railway bridge, the near side h/d tie rod snapped and tried throwing me in to the bridge. I am back on standard tie rods now.

T'is funny.. here, most of the speedbumps are like giant humps of concrete in the middle of the road.. good 'cause if theres no on-coming traffic you can literally drive down the middle of the road, right through the two humps.. ha..

Just out of curiosity mate, where are you?
Im from essex and the speedbumps down my road are like that.
just wondering if its a coincidence

I always do that, although if there is oncoming traffic i make em wait!

My mini is more important than whether they get to work on time :( :(

Just to add.

When i was at sixth form there used to be along road of properly huge speedbumps and my car would always scrape so bad (mate said he could hear it over on the field) in the end it ruined my original exhaust, and thats when i got the tasty LCB!
Neway, when i got the new one i would just drive over the massive grass area to the right and down onto the playground, saved me a lot of anguish. And the looks on peoples faces were priceless :(

There are large sleeping policemen at our local leisure centre so I just drive along the footpath

I find the worst speed humps are in private owned car parks, council ones (near me) tend to be really long so you kinda go up onto them then down off them, Asda's on the other hand bounce your front wheels up into the air because there so short and sharpe, then you get those damn yellow and black ones that are just bolted to the road.

the ones at uni arn't too bad because they are at an angle so you get one wheel up first.

Thats my experiences anyway, as you can tell they are an issue with me.
