Have been looking around for a mint rear chrome ashtray when I had the thought why the hell am I putting an ashtray in!

Has anyone seen any alternatives - maybe a coin tray or just a box for bits n bobs?

Not sure on alternatives, I removed mine by drilling out the rivets on the exhaust tunnel. But I have a original chrome ashtray for the tunnel spare if you are looking for one.

I never knew there was an ashtray on the centre tunnel in the back - you learn something new Mini related every day!

Certainly not, there was never one in my Mini (a 96) and I've never noticed one in any Mini I've ever sat in/played in...

Thanks

You would think in this day and age there would be people making things to fit.

Maybe a classic mini interior specialist could come up with something.

By the way cheers JJ got the ashtray in the post - at least I have a mint ashtray now
