i think you would need a spacer, not sure about needing a spaced drum and i dont see why it would be all over the road unless you mount the wheels wrong or suddenly become drunk.

the spacer would only be for clearence as the 13x7 would have a fairly big negative off set, put them on to see if they fit, if they do........good times
if they dont try spacered drums on the back and u know u have to cut the front arches if they havnt been done already??

You will definately need a spacer as well as spacered drums. I didn't think this either till i fitted my sportspack wheels :D

I think this idea of extra spacing is required to clear the shock absorber on the rear, if you have the wheels and the car offer it up and see how much clearance you have :D

This is probably refering to the fact that such large, heavy and offset wheels cause Mini's to 'tramline' on the road over bad surfaces, also the steering becomes quite heavy at parking speeds. Basically Mini's drive and handle much better on their original smaller, lighter 10" and 12" wheels but some still like the looks of big 13" wheels........

I have 8x13s and no spacer or spaced drums on the rear, and there are no clearence issues so I don't think you'll need them

there is a positive offset(i think) on sportspack wheels, i'd say the deep dish will have enough offset to not need the spacer

13x7 deepdish will just drop straight on with only arch mods needed. they should fit under miglias though as they are very wide arches. Sportspack are the most common arches to be used with them and normally the tyres will protrude slightly but as its the shoulder of the tyre(mainly the rim protector), VOSA state this is ok (Had a VOSA inspector at the MOT station twice during my MOT's now and both MOT inspectors checked with them to cover their own backs).

I dont think Group 5's will cover the deepdish 13's. Check out the link below for arches recommended for 13" wheels.
