I'll track down the two VOSA inspectors at the weekend then and inform them that they shouldnt have said they were legal. I'll also get VOSA in to the MOT station so that they can close it down for passing my car for the last 9 years. I must state i said the shoulder of the tyre and rim protector that is'nt in contact with the road, therefore not able to flick up stones at others like VOSA state to check for.

I wonder how many other 13x7 deepdish minis with sportspack arches are getting passed by MOT inspectors everyday, i see hell of alot of them at shows. We must inform VOSA straight away to check up on this plague :)

Oh and if you look at the VOSA diagram carefully, you will see the rim of the front wheel just protruding the arch :dontgetit:

I wasn't aiming that at you,

when I was pulled for protruding wheels, I was told that part of what they look for is the wheel being able to contact a person should you clip them, hence the whole rim should be inside the arch, and the test is to lay a straight edge against the rim to check this.
