Yeah they do look similar but notice how they taper at the pocket so they dont squish against the side of the seats!! Iv never seen that before anywhere.

Yeah, they're definitely not made by roberts. He makes stand alone pods but not integrated into door pockets like those.

I think they're probably custom. Can't be that difficult to make using fibreglass.

Yeah, i know about them already but thanks for the links.

£60 and £115 respectively - how can they justify that pricing??

Im currently trying to fabricate a pair of my own at the moment. If they come out alright il put a thread up on the ICE area

i thinking making your own is the way forward, these items are massively marked up when you consider what they are. very much the same as, dashs, centre consoles, boot liners etc.

they aren't essential in anyway, but it seems with minis that the "accessories" so to speak are very expensive, where actual mechanical and other parts (which are essential) are relatively cheap.

i agree with maggies minder, i have just looked at the ebay links and they are seriously expensive when you think they are just modified door pockets. think i might start knocking them out lol

I bought some identical to these from Cannon Hill Park for £30. It was from the guy next to GuessWorks pitch. Maybe he can tell you who he is.

Someone on here a while back did some plans for the speaker pockets like on that eBay auction. Looking at them closely they're nearly identical. The link to the attached .zip with plans seems to be dead now, but I've managed to find one photo.
