only used nitromours before.

And only used it on small parts rather then panels etc.

Its messy and hard work as the paint needs scrubbing off after the stripper as started to lift it.

Most paint stripper is good and does what it says in the tin, I like starchem stuff, tends to be more gloopy and stays on the panel longer. Just be very careful and wear goggles and thick rubber gloves! you might think it's overkill with the goggles, but if you get any in your eye, you'll know why.

well im halfway through is of paint stripping the WHOLE of my mini (previous owner enamel brish painted it so i can spray over enamel) anyway ive got two 1 liter tins of paint stripper tham in working with, one is a wilkinsons own brand, and the other is notromorse. as far as i can tell they work the same, it lifts the enamel paint off straight away, but the original car paint gets softened up and i need to go over the whole panel with either a sander or a wire wheel on the grinder. its hard messy work but i just do a panel at a time.

I have been using a hot air paint stripper gun and scraper on mine and works pretty well, not to much mess either. It is slow but doing an hour at a time as no rush.

Wow, that must have been a low-grade paint used. Not hurling insults mind you. A factory paint job (especially for a classic Mini vintage vehicle) would have been baked at 2-300°C from the factory, so if a heat gun is peeling it off, it must have been a low-durability paint like cellulose. (or perhaps the heat gun is more like a blowtorch?)

It's pretty good stuff, I've used it on bonnets and bikes before.

What are you using it for, what kind of paint are you trying to take off?
