I need to get the paint off of the boot hinges, it's so thick it's chipping off in chunks but it's not easy to scrap.

I have seen a lot of mention that Nitromors is no good any more.

I am a little worried that something to harsh will damage the hinges themselves, I'm not sure what they are made of, some sort of monkey metal alloy I assume.

I did consider buying new hinges but genuine ones seem to be a ridiculous price and the others seem to be far too cheap in comparison!

forgot to mention i tend to scratch the surface, use far less stripper in comparison than just slapping on top

I used some final systems stuff on my bonnet and it worked great...
