Hi All,

Thanks for your advice.

My mates Daughter has no interest in it so that is why She wants to sell it.

I am told that they sold 6,400 tickets at £4 a go! Now that is a lot of money eh!

Best regards

Chris

Sell raffle tickets for it. You should get £24K.

My budget is £2K. I'd go over budget if it's as clean as it looks.

That Mini looks remarkably like mine when it was standard; same model, trim, wheels..except mine is blue and had twice as many miles

Looks perfect from the pictures, i think it's worth about 2k, maybe a bit more. City's aren't that desirable but a concourse-esque one like that should attract decent attention.

I have a budget of £2k for the best standard(ish) (none cooper) mini I can find.

I'm guessing It won't be worth haggling on this one ?

The car is worth between £4 - 5K to the ordinary punter but considerably more to a specialist.

Best regards

Chris

Chris: sorry to quote you but I think there are alot of deluded people in the world (and I'm most likely one of them)

Hi All,

Just to let you know this is going up for sale at Castle Coombe this weekend for £2,750.

If it does not sell there I will buy it and store it at that price. Anyone interested contact me asap or let me know if you want to view it Castle Coombe.

I hope that the mods don't see this as an advert, more advising people. But I can stick it up as an ad if necessary. Please let me know.

Best regards

Chris

Wondered when this would show up on here...

I helped sell the raffle tickets, they were £1 each, as far as we know the lucky lady only bought one.

Very lucky, because I have no idea who told you it was restored, it's ORIGINAL, even has the factory stickers on the floors, orig paint and sils from factory.

Slight bump in boot, and reprayed drivers door. That as far as I can remember that was it, maybe a couple of service parts also irrc.

When my mini club went to pick it up for the Atwell Wilson raffle the orginal owner (iirrc) put new tyres on as he was concerned on it's first motorway journey. One lady owner, hardly driven, garaged, well looked after.

I don't know the ins and outs of the interior, but the guy who does the cars at the museum mainly works on the wedding Rolls etc... so standard is more than high, but I'm pretty sure it was all tip top. There was something odd about the rear bin on the drivers side, I think it was a slight scratch in the paint, that's all I could find wrong with it (apart from the door and boot)!!

My brother bought about £70 worth of tickets (gutted)... would be a shame if someone mods this, it's concource material.

I think it's easily worth £3500, drives like a dream, and I've stuck me head in all parts of this beauty.

Good luck with the sale, this car has to be seen and loved some more.

Many thanks for the information. I have been trying to get it out of my friends Daughter and asked if they could go and discuss with the museum.

I will check on the interior because I was under the impression that it had been re built.

Best regards

Chris

Certainly not, it's a genuine original little car, ask to speak to Len at Atwell Wilson Motor Museum he'll give you all the details (he's in Six Ex Mini Club, and will be at Castle Coombe Saturday.)

And again, I can't stress to anyone on here more who is interested, go take a look, has to be seen to be believed.

£3500 is my estimate.

Hope it goes to a good home.
