they clearly dont know what theyre talking about, they say the xj220 was crap. it just came at a bad time
and the only reason they can put down for the de lorean being rubbish was tha the british tax payer paid for it. doesnt make it a bad car, makes it a bad company
and the alegro was rubbish because it had a square steering wheel. i can think of dozens of worse cars

chuffing squares!

actualy, what they say is correct, it was rejected by the army, they simply didnt want it :D i can understand why when you compair it to a landy, look at the difference in ground clearance and aproach angles, cant really compair, rubbish for the job it was designed for but still quite cool in a querky way i think.

well it says it was a myth that it was a rugged and much loved militarian vehichle, it was rejected by the british army, but the ozzies had loads of them!

Pretty sure our military had a few, they had Minis as staff cars. It was the Yanks who famously tested it - and a twin engine 4WD variant, but the Moke was already on the production lines by then.

How about our own list?

Lancia Beta - rusted faster than a Mini in a salt mine.
Austin Princess - styled like a Dairylea triangle, but even more plasticy on the inside

Never fallen out of my moke at a roundabout...and i hoon it.....in fact if the weather clears up I'm going to go out and double test their theory! It was much loved by rock bands, such as the Monkeys, and Twiggy had one! The moke I've got has spent all its life on a farm, sooo didn't do to badly going over the hills of Kent!

I saw this article yesterday morning and I must admit that although there were a few reasonable contenders on the list, for the most part there were far worse cars out there.

The DeLorean looked great, but it was rather sluggish - however, this hardly qualifies it for the category of "worst car ever".

Despite some great stuff coming out of Italy over the years, they have also produced some real junk. What about the Fiat 131, or the Lancia Beta that someone previously mentioned.

Yugo's, FSO's - the list goes on.

Even the old Austin Allagro wasn't that bad. Sure it had its problems - but loads of them were sold!
