tis easy to do, but personally through experience, i would not bother with anything more than a light smoke for daily drivers, fun toys yeah go darker, but a dark smoke is difficult to see out of at night and ultimatly dangerous, the fading tints on that yellow mini is gradient tints, they are illegal. on the right car can look effective, but i dont like them in general.

Someone told me about using a hairdryer to shrink the bits on curved windows
Yeah, we use bosch heat guns to warm the vinyl up, if you've got a pretty strong hairdryer then that should do the job, but dont leave it pointed at the film for very long, as you will damage it, you only need to move it past the film to warm it really. (i dont know exactly as i've never tried fitting tints, but it is the same principle.)
Hope this helps anyway.

All you need to do to remove the rear screen, is take filler strip out of the screen rubber then push the screen out from the inside (have someone on the other side so the screen doesn't go anywhere) and then you should be able to take the rubber off the screen and take the screen out.

:wales: I've tinted five of the windows on my mini in a blue and put a sun strip inside out of the same stuff, looks really smart against the red too. All the glass was out of the car so doing the side windows was easy, doing the rear screen was an absolute nightmare and a job I will never attempt again. Yes it looks good but the pain wasn't worth it, a few places will do it for you but it's very expensive. I was quoted £160,I bought the film from Halfords for £30 and it took me most of a day.
