Basically having done about 4-5 hours of research and come up with pretty much nothing on the matter im wondering if anyone on here can give me a lead to who may have made a few of these?

I heard on one site that some were sold at around £7000 before the company responsible went under.

I also know that FRA minis made up a few but these were not Sprints.

It would be much appreiciated if someone got back to me on this, pretty soon to.

Thanks!

I didn't say anything about wanting carbon fibre. I'm trying to find out who manufactured carbon shells?

well you did mention it in the topic name, carbon fibre that is.

I think there may be some confusion mounting up as to what you actually mean.

Yes i did.

I mean carbon fibre. As in the material made mainly from carbon and usually combined with a plastic resin to create a high strength low weight material.

The question i asked was....

Does anyone have any information on who manufactured a carbon fibre mini sprint shell?

again,

do you want space frame or full shell?

and

do you want to know who did make them, or who does make them?

after that,

do you want a price and availabilty? or do you just want to know if they are available?

Full shell.

"do you want to know who did make them, or who does make them?"

Any information would be helpful.

"do you want a price and availabilty? or do you just want to know if they are available?"

I wouldn't mind a price.
Im just trying to find out some information about a carbon fibre shell.

I have only ever known of 1 CF Sprint shell, I think Hawk had it made and it was painted Metallic British Racing Green with Rosepetal alloys.
It was featured in MiniWorld a few years back and is now painted in Gulf colours

I'm not stupid haha. Im on about carbon fibre as described above. Yea i've been on that site already.

I'm trying to find out about a shell i have been informed of in the local area. That is made of CF.

I have only ever known of 1 CF Sprint shell, I think Hawk had it made and it was painted Metallic British Racing Green with Rosepetal alloys.

Thanks paul i saw the mini in question at SMD the other day. Unluckily i did not get a chance to speak to the owner about it, i was unsure if it was CF or FG.

A few people have tried to answer your questions only to be shot down in flames.....

"Bodystylist" produces high Quality carbon fibre and grp parts and i'm sure would be able to help answer your quesitons, David Kimberley of TDK Racing also used to be a regular on here (Don't know if he still is) and bought Framini a couple of years ago. Both are experts in their field.

I don't know many people who mass produce anything in CF due to the costs involved. Shells have been made in CF by several people in the past however, these are generally one off's

What on earths been going on here?

To the OP.. I don't think you've done yourself any favours here, you need to be clearer about what information you actually want. This would help people give you the replies you need. If you've been offered a C/F shell and wanted to know who could have made it and what it was worth, then why not just say?

Why waste peoples time asking for a quote if you've got no intention of buying?

Also some of your replies border on rude, people were trying to help, based on the limited and confusing, info you gave.

Any more nonsense and I won't hesitate to close this thread.
