Sorry but I need the added 10bhp that comes with a red car :) it shall stay red.

The tinted lacquer is interesting but I think it make it look fake carbon or make it look pink?

how about vinyl-ing the front? seems like a waste of an exposed weave front to paint over it.

a freind of mine called tim ansell who is highly regarded as on of the best sprayers in the vw community has a carbon fronted mk3 golf and he has faded the paint which i think would hel you to brake up the solid grey and solid red i dont know if you can see the picture

you could paint the front but mask on some 1/2 inch stripes down the side that way you will be able to see hints its full carbon, obviously carry on the stripe down the car but have to paint it along the car sort of charcole/black in colour

Should have bought a fibreglass front with carbon arches then painted the front red (+1 this guys >_<)

Thanks for all the input guys but I'm afraid the red is my Mini's identity >_< I like the Dennis the Menace red & black combo :o

and I'm not really a fan of fake carbon so the wrap is not my cup of tea either :lol:

Think you should leave the front in exposed carbon, but add some authentic vinyl rust patches under the headlights lol >_<
