Mk3cortina : yeah i will do to stop it rusting any further or i won't be able to fit my original bumpers back on.

miniman44 : I would get one if i were you because they do look good when fitted, and as a bonus are good for reversing at night etc.

I don't like bodykits, and can't stand the zeemax kit, but I really quite like yours. It's not pretty, but the simplicity of the design makes it look more purposeful, and thats where I think it looks good on your mini at least. It's a bit marmite, but I think it works well.

Otherwise, really really nice mini and lovely colour. Would get it a bit lower personally though

Yeah the bodykit is an RGM one and they are still readily available and some come up quite cheap on ebay brand new.
I have always liked this shade of green but i don't know what shade it is. Its not british racing green or almond green and i don't think its brooklands green. The car was originaly a sort of flame red, then there is evidence of cherry red and then the primer is on there and i think it has had a blue top coat as its showing through after the primer. Maybe this is why the green is slightly different to the almond green shade?
I have been to a paint sprayers and asked them to mix me the colour and they mixed a really sort of pee/army colour green which is completely wrong as i am trying to get the car sprayed up the same colours soon.

Evan.

I'm not going to rally mine as its just for looks more than anything, i will eventually do the interior once the outside is sorted to near works spec looks wise with the arches, jacking points, sump guard, 5 pin lighting socket and plug etc etc.
